The dumbbell step up exercise is a great way to build strength in the legs, butt, and core.
-Stand with your feet hip-width apart and place the dumbbells on the floor in front of you.
-Pick up one weight in each hand and step up onto a bench or box with one leg.
-Push through your heel to stand up on the bench or box, keeping your torso upright and hips square.
-Lower back down by bending at the knee until your foot touches the ground then switch legs.
